Information on how to delete your account and associated data.

Account Deletion Process

To request the deletion of your Felper app account and all associated data, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Support: Send an email to our support team at contact@felper.app.
  2. Email Subject: In the subject line of the email, state 'Account Deletion Request'.
  3. Account Information: In the body of the email, include the email address you used to create your Felper app account. This will help us locate your account.
  4. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email within 5 business days, acknowledging receipt of your request and informing you of the next steps.

The deletion of your account and data will be completed within 30 days of your request confirmation.

Types of Data Deleted or Retained

Upon deletion of your account, the following types of data are deleted:

  • Personal information (name, email address)
  • Application usage data
  • Cat translation history
  • Pet health records
  • Veterinarian notes
  • User settings and preferences

We may retain certain data for a limited period for the following reasons:

  • Legal Obligations: Data required to be retained by law (e.g., tax records, transaction records).
  • Dispute Resolution: Data necessary for resolving disputes or enforcing our terms of service.
  • Security: Limited data for security and fraud prevention purposes.

This data will be retained for an additional period of up to 90 days after your account deletion is completed, unless otherwise required by law.
